Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen 2012
Eileen won the title of Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen on February 13, 2012 at Pinkerton Academy in Derry. There, she competed with 21 beautiful and talented young women from all areas of The Granite State. During Preliminary Competition Eileen was awarded the Evening Wear and Onstage Question winner and she was the overall interview winner. Along with the crown Eileen also went home with almost $2,000 in scholarship. She is extremely excited to represent New Hampshire throughout the year and in Orlando August 14th through the 18th at the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Competition! Since adopting her platform, "Go Wild! Exploring and Protecting out National Forest," Eileen has coordinated many events that have raised community excitement about the outdoors, and encouraged people to volunteer for their local forest service. Eileen has also joined Smokey Bear visiting schools around New Hampshire talking about the dangers of Wild Fires and how we as humans can prevent them. As Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen, she will continue to promote her platform to ensure that our nature's beauty is preserved and experienced by every child and teen across America.
